Code of conduct
AI Leaders Romania gatherings are places where people come to learn from each other. The rules below keep the room open to everyone. They apply at the meetup, at dinners, in the WhatsApp group and anywhere we meet as AI Leaders Romania.
What we expect from everyone
- Be respectful. Disagreement is welcome, personal attacks are not.
- Listen as much as you talk. Leave room for the people who speak less.
- What is said in the room stays in the room. Use what you learned, but do not publicly attribute what someone said without asking.
- Introduce yourself honestly: who you are, what you do, what you are looking for. Titles do not matter, what you did does.
What we do not do
- No selling from the front. Nobody pitches from the front, not organizers, not partners.
- We do not pass on the attendee list or use it to write to other people. Nobody gets the other guests’ emails.
- We do not tolerate harassment of any kind: comments, unwanted physical contact, insistence after a no, photos of someone taken or shared without their consent, outside the announced event photos.
- At a demo night a working product is shown. No commercial offers are made and no contact details are collected.
- We do not come to recruit aggressively or to mass-message the group.
Organizers and partners
- From the front and in announcements, organizers appear first in their community role. A company may be mentioned after that.
- Anyone with a personal interest in a decision (a partner, a venue, a speaker) says so and steps out of that decision.
- Partnerships are collaborations, not pay-for-access deals. Nobody buys the microphone, the attendee list or the community’s position.
- Paid formats, such as the workshops built by members, are announced as such from the start. The meetup stays free and is never a sales floor.
Photos
At some editions we take photos and short videos for the community and for the public gallery, and we say so at the door. If you do not want to appear, tell an organizer at the door. If you already appear in a published photo and want it removed, write to contact@ai-leaders.ro and we remove it within 30 days at most.
If something is not right
Talk to an organizer on the spot or write to contact@ai-leaders.ro. We take every message seriously, reply discreetly, and can ask someone to leave or not come back. The organizers decide.
